House rules

Thank you for visiting us! So that every one of our guests feels well, we have put together some important and useful information. By using the accommodation, the guest confirms that they have read, understood and accepted the house rules. We operate the guesthouse as private accommodation.

General rules

1. Before arrival, the guest must enter the personal data and the document (ID card, driving licence or passport) required for registration in the “VENDÉGEM” Szállás app. This documents arrival at and departure from the accommodation.
2. Guests may occupy the house only after the full price has been paid. If they decide to end their stay early, we are unable to refund the money.
3. Only the registered persons may stay in the accommodation and on its premises.
4. In Pécs the tourist tax is HUF 600 per person per night for those over 18, an amount that is included in the accommodation fee; the host must settle it with the competent local authority.
5. Access to the accommodation is made smooth: the main gate of the building opens with a code and the apartment with the key placed in the key box. On departure, please put the key back in the key box.

Check-in and check-out

You can occupy the accommodation from 15:00, and on the day of departure please leave by 10:00. One hour before arrival, please call +36 30 358 2363, or write on WhatsApp or Viber. On arrival we let our guests in contactlessly.

Keys

On arrival our guests receive 1 door key and 1 remote-control gate key, since the owners are not present in the house. Please return the keys complete on the day of departure! If they are lost, we charge HUF 15,000 per key, because we replace the lock and the remote-control gate key. Please lock the house when you leave and at night.

Wi-Fi

In the accommodation you can connect to the Wi-Fi network free of charge with an individual code; we give you the password on arrival. Please share your experience on the Google page of Sweet House Pécs and rate us!

Quiet hours

Please be considerate of your surroundings and of each other: keep the night quiet between 22:00 and 8:00. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the city centre!

Smoking, candles, fire safety

Smoking and the use of incense, candles and tea lights is prohibited in the house. You can smoke in the courtyard in front of the house. In case of fire, first call 112 or 105, then +36 30 358 2363.

Emergency numbers: 112 (general emergency), 104 (ambulance), 105 (fire brigade), 107 (police).

Heating, air conditioning, hot water

The accommodation runs on a condensing boiler (hot water and heating). The air conditioning can be used for both cooling and heating.

Parking

Free parking is available in front of the house.

Furnishings, meals

Please use the furnishings as intended, and do not take the indoor items (bed, bed linen, mattress, TV, air conditioning, washing machine, etc.) out into the garden. The accommodation is self-catering, with a well-equipped kitchen. Please do not put anything containing metal into the microwave! The Árkád Pécs mall, with many restaurants, is 100 metres away.

Cleaning

For stays longer than a week we provide clean towels and bed linen. Daily cleaning can be requested for a separate fee of HUF 15,000 per day.

Comfort extras

Washing machine, hairdryer, iron, microwave, fridge, air conditioning, coffee machine, kettle, blankets, towels, indoor slippers, cosmetic and cleaning products, umbrella. A large-screen smart TV with more than 100 preset channels.

Camera system

Outside the house there is a recording camera system, approved by the residents' meeting, that covers the courtyard, the car park and the entrance. Even so, please take care of your belongings and lock your cars.

Waste

You can collect household waste in the kitchen bin. When it is full, put the tied bag in the bin store to the right of the entrance door: general waste in the black-grey bin, paper and plastic in the green-white recycling bin. You will find clean bags in the kitchen cupboard.

Garden

We look after the garden. Please take care of the plants and the garden bench!

Child-friendly

Available free of charge on request: a travel cot with blankets, a baby bath, a toilet seat reducer, a stroller adjustable to three positions (sitting, reclining, lying), IKEA children's tableware, picture books and a wooden play kitchen.

Pets

We cannot accept pets, so it is forbidden to bring them onto the premises of the accommodation.

Close to nature

The windows are protected by insect screens. Even so, please be aware that being close to nature can occasionally bring minor inconveniences (mosquitoes – although there are few here –, louder singing birds, wasps attracted by food smells, ants coming for crumbs).

Liability

Guests are financially liable for damage resulting from improper use of the accommodation or from breaking the house rules. Sweet House accepts no liability for personal belongings. We reserve the right to choose our guests: we do not accept guests who are intoxicated or prone to aggression. The owner has the right to cancel the stay if the guest does not keep to the house rules; in this case we are unable to refund the fee for the remaining days.

We have tried to do our best so that we can give you the most. We only ask that you look after it, so that next time you come we can welcome you to the same beautiful condition.
